Circle Theatre adds more performances to its 2021 season

Circle Theatre updated its 69th main stage season with new outdoor productions and in-theatre productions that will begin May 6.

In addition to Circle On The Lawn productions that include the play “The Gin Game” and the musical “Always… Patsy Cline,” there will be a Circle PopUp Concert Series featuring local musicians performing a variety of outdoor concerts.

The theater will present Circle Movies On The Lawn in partnership with Wealthy Theatre, which will showcase “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Hocus Pocus.”

May and June summer concerts will be held outdoors. In July, in-theatre productions will include the musicals “Cabaret” and “Hair,” and the play “Noises Off.”

Additionally, there will be Circle Summer Concert Series performances of Hits of the 80s: Vol. 2, Freebird: Classic Rock of the 70s, ABC: Boy Band Evolution and Hello Sunshine: Songs of Summer.

Circle Theatre will continue its Circle Virtual Theatre, which includes plays such as “The Spoon River Anthology” and “Father Comes Home From The Wars: Parts I, II and III.”

The theater’s first Mystery Singer competition will air on-demand.
