Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is inviting artists 18 years and older to compete in its annual Ray and Nancy Loeschner Art Competition.
Artists from around the world can submit their original two-dimensional works such as drawing, print, pastel, painting or photography inspired by Meijer Gardens.
Through a gift from the Loeschner family, the winning entries (one each in two-dimensional and photography) will receive $5,000 purchase awards in addition to becoming a part of the Meijer Gardens permanent collection.
Artists must register online on Meijer Gardens’ website by Oct. 24. The winner will be chosen and announced in January 2022.
