If you are attending the annual Harvest Festival in Rockford this weekend, be sure to stop by Rockford Brewing Company’s (RBC) beer tent and pick up a beer brat.

For the fifth year in a row, Rockford Brewing will run a beer tent in conjunction with the Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s annual fall festival.

The RBC Harvest Festival beer tent opens on Friday at 5 p.m. Admission into the tent is free, while food and drink tickets will be available for purchase.

Attendees will be able to enjoy more than ten RBC craft brews including the brewery’s seasonal Chinook Harvest Ale, made with Michigan Chinook hops. A brat bar will also be available, offering a Sobie Meats classic beer brat or vegan mushroom brat.

Load up your brat with toppings that include ketchup, yellow mustard, spicy whole grain mustard, diced onion, shredded cheddar, kimchi, sweet soy pickled onions, house-made pickle relish, RBC sauerkraut, champagne slaw, pickled jalapenos, sweet corn relish, spicy paradigm mayo, curried pineapple salsa, bacon and more.

Live entertainment starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, with music from The Muteflutes. On Saturday, there will be open mic from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and music from Hazy Past at 8 p.m. An Dro wraps up the weekend on Sunday with a performance from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Rockford Brewing Company and The Mitten Brewing Co. are also hosting a group bike ride on Sunday. This free biking event will start with brunch and beer at The Mitten Brewing Co. at 10 a.m. Then riders will head to the RBC Harvest Festival beer tent at noon via the White Pine Trail.
