Pretty soon you’ll be able to get your favorite Harmony Brewing Company pizza and beer delivered to your front door.

Barry Van Dyke, who co-owns Harmony Brewing along with Jackson Van Dyke and Heather Van Dyke-Titus, said the Eastown brewery is close to finalizing its expansion plans.

Harmony Brewing recently purchased the former Subway shop next door to its Eastown location, at 1551 Lake Dr. SE, for the expansion.

Van Dyke said Harmony plans to connect the two buildings, adding additional indoor and outdoor dining space as well as adding a second kitchen that will be focused on carryout and delivery orders.

“Since 2012, when we started, we were running up against space constraints,” Van Dyke said.

While plans are still being finalized, Van Dyke said he expects the expanded indoor seating to accommodate approximately 65-70 more guests. He also said much of the former Subway parking lot will be converted to accommodate additional beer garden seating.

“We are hoping, overall, for our regular customer there will be more elbow room,” he said.

Van Dyke said the addition will fit with the current aesthetic of the brewery. “We’re not changing the feel of the place.”

He said the brewery is excited to add delivery service, which will include crowler delivery. The 32-ounce cans will be filled to order.

Van Dyke said once construction begins, he expects it will take about 90 days to complete. A start date has yet to be determined, but Van Dyke said he hopes the addition is completed by spring.
