West Michigan collectors have a chance to appear on popular History channel reality show American Pickers, a documentary series that profiles real life collectors and tells their unique stories.

The television series is searching the state for collectors with “sizeable, unique collections” it can peruse in search of valuable antiques.

American Pickers plans to film episodes of the show in Michigan during August.

American Pickers follows antique collectors Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, two of the “most skilled pickers” in the business, as they hunt for valuable antiques to add to their personal collections or for their clients.

Through their search, the pair also unearth amazing stories about the people behind the collections and the history of America.

American Pickers is looking for individuals with a large, private collection or an accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through. If you fit that description, submit your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST.

American Pickers is produced by Cineflix Productions for History. New episodes air Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on History.
