A local sculpture makes a surprise appearance in Sheryl Crow’s new music video for her single “Roller Skate,” off of her new album, “Be Myself.”
Crow can be seen roller skating around “The American Horse” (also known as the giant horse) sculpture located outdoors at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
“The American Horse” is the work of Nina Akamu, who is known for her animal sculptures. The work was inspired, in part, by a work created by Renaissance master Leonardo da Vinci for the Duke of Milan in the late 15th century.
Crow was in town earlier this summer for a performance at FMG.
